Welcome to Black Bear Den, a 3-story, 4 bedroom luxury cabin located in the Big Ridge Mountain Resort, 2.3 miles from Gatlinburg offering a spectacular mountain view and wildlife. There are 2 master suites, a full wrap around deck on the main level and partial deck on the upper level, modern kitchen, home theater room, game room and Wi-Fi throughout the house. Breathtaking views of the mountains from both decks and part of downtown Gatlinburg Space Needle area from upper deck. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax, catch up with friends and family, or watch the black bears that frequent the property.
Access to the cabin is a gradual climb on 2 lane roads with only one short switchback to contend with. Black Bear Den is located in a quiet community at the end of a secluded drive with a level parking area, which can easily hold 3-4 cars.

The entry level features the living area, kitchen, dining area, and one king bedroom with private bathroom and full access to the main deck. The living area has leather furniture with full length windows to admire the mountain view or watch your favorite shows on the 65” 4K LED TV. This cozy area has a LED electric fireplace and ½ bath. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a gas cooktop, wall oven and microwave unit, and is fully stocked with all the necessary cooking accessories. The dining area offers seating for 8 with a bar area for 3 more. The king suite has a 50” 4K LED TV and LED electric fireplace. It has access to the covered deck area and a private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, walk-in tiled shower with a rain head, and 2 vanities.

The upper level features a home theater room with a bar area, remote workstation, and one queen master suite with private bathroom and access to the upper deck. Just wait till you see the view from up here! The theater room boosts a 75” 4K LED TV with surround sound and spacious seating to enjoy your favorite sports game or movie. There is a wet bar with mini-fridge and a closet of board games for family game night. The LED electric fireplace will warm you on those cold snow filled winter nights. There is also a remote workstation with 2 27” monitors for those that want to travel with their families but need to still connect to work. The queen master has a 50” 4K LED TV and LED electric fireplace.

The lower level has a game room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry area. The game room has a 50” 4K LED TV with full size pool table, and arcade game. The first bedroom has a full-size bed with a twin loft bunkbed and 40” 4K LED TV. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed with a twin trundle bed and 40” 4K LED TV. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. There is a laundry area with full size washer and dryer and laundry supplies. There is an outdoor deck area with seating and gate access at ground level.
The outdoor grill area has an Oklahoma Joe's Open Fire Barrel charcoal grill. The decks have furniture in different area's including near the grill area. The garbage bin has easy access and is bear proof when shut properly. Corn hole boards are in deck box, if you are up for a friendly competition.
